CÓRDOBA BIOTECNOLOGÍA presenta su PLANTA DE BIOTECNOLOGÍA en el Polígono Industrial de "El Antolín" en Peñarroya- Pueblo Nuevo (CÓRDOBA), cuyo objeto es la producción de plantones a escala.

El sector en el que se desarrolla la actividad empresarial es biotecnología vegetal avanzada, desarrollando genotipos superiores de especies vegetales para su cultivo, inicialmente en España y África.

Desde hace varios años estamos desarrollando en Brasil investigaciones con el Centro Pluridisciplinar de Investigaciones Químicas Biológicas y Agrícolas (CPQBA) para el estudio de las condiciones adecuadas y el desarrollo de culturas “in Vitro” productoras de agentes biotecnológicos con selección de especies para la domesticación y cultivos a escala.

Con la Universidad Estadual de Campinas – Sao Paolo – Brasil (UNICAMP) y a través del Instituto de Bioenergia desarrollamos protocolos para la micropropagación y mejoras genéticas de la Jatropha Curcas, Paulownia y otras especies vegetales, con total garantía de implantación en Europa y África cuyo destino es igualmente los cultivos energéticos de segunda generación.

CÓRDOBA BIOTECNOLOGÍA participa también en el desarrollo rural como medio de reactivación de la agricultura, puesto que supone la fijación de empleo estable a largo plazo, creando un marco de seguridad para el agricultor.
